Dr Sivanandi Rajadurai

Dr Sivanandi Rajadurai (aka) Mylaudy Dr S Rajadurai holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He has held academic positions at American College, Madurai, and at Loyola College, Chennai. During 1983 -1985, he served as a representative of India to the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for low-cost instrument development for scientific application.
In the US, Dr Rajadurai began his career at the University of Notre Dame and worked also in a number of advanced laboratories such as Radiation Lab, LLNL, Oak Ridge National Lab etc.
After 25 years in the US, Dr Rajadurai returned to India. He is an elected fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He has received numerous awards and honours of distinction, including Dr K C G Verghese 2017 Excellence Award for Research and Achievements from Hindustan Group of Institutions, and SAE India Southern Section Lifetime Accomplishment Award for Research Contributions in 2017.
